Course Overview:

Event Management and Planning is a hands-on Launchpad programme that prepares you to conceive, plan and deliver successful events — from concerts and corporate functions to weddings, conferences and festivals. You will learn the full event lifecycle: concept development, budgeting, vendor and venue management, logistics, scheduling, marketing, and on-the-day coordination. Combining classroom learning with real event projects, the course equips you with the organisational, commercial and people skills the events industry demands.

Course Objectives:

• Plan and manage events end-to-end, from concept to post-event review.

• Build and control event budgets and negotiate with vendors and venues.

• Coordinate logistics, scheduling, staffing and on-site operations.

• Market and promote events across digital and offline channels.

• Manage risk, health & safety and contingency planning for live events.
